Demons with Shotguns let's you take on Hell's Minions

Fresh off of Steam Greenlight is Demons with Shotguns, a competitive 2D arena Platformer in which you battle it out for the souls of your friends. You're given quite the powerful shotgun to work with as well as a shield and a holy water grenade to battle Hell's minions.

2-4 players can duke it out in various game modes across various interactive arenas and each have their own environmental hazards and mechanics that you'll have to work your way through as you fight.

Nicholas DiMucci, the Lead Developer at MindShaft Games said this of the game;

"Demons with Shotguns is our answer to what if the old school 90s arena shooters were released on SNES instead? What would that game look like?' Local multiplayer games have seen a big resurgence as of late and we feel Demons with Shotguns stands on its own, not only with its frantic, twitch style shooting action, but with the expansive game modes and arenas were developing.

Demons with Shotguns will have around 40 different arenas across 4 different types of environments and each are very unique and interactive. Players will be able to choose from up to 7 different game modes. Here's a sample of the game modes;

• Deathmatch
• Team Deathmatch
• Capture the Flag (dubbed "Capture the Soul")
• Soul Reaping (where players fight to drain others of their soul energy while maintaining their own.)

Pretty cool I have to say and the demons remind me of the ones from Doom just a bit... Well, maybe not quite as hardcore as some of those. You can vote for the game on their Steam Greenlight page here.
