Demo for Arslan: The Warriors of Legend to Hit PS4 January 12

It's time for some free demos! According to Koei Tecmo, the demo for the upcoming tactical action title Arslan: The Warriors of Legend will be hitting the PlayStation 4 soon. By soon, I am referring to January 12, 2016 in both North America and Europe.

What will the demo unveil? Well, players will be able to delve into the early stages of the game, including a tutorial session that involves Arslan and his bodyguard Daryun, and you'll also be able to check out some cool new abilities like the Mardan Rush and Weapon Arts.

Beyond the demo, there's a little bit of news for fans to savor: a Free Mode feature will be available in the title. Not only that, but those who have been looking forward to seeing Elam, the culinary master and Narsus's page, will be glad to know that he will be aiding the party with some nicely whipped up dishes.

These dishes, which can be created via collected recipe books hidden throughout story mode, will give controlled characters ability boosts. For example, Lamb Skewers, Stewed Chicken and Potluck Soup will add increased health, attack boosts, healing, bonus gold, bonus experience, and loads more. So pretty nifty, if I do say so myself. Arslan: The Warriors of Legend will release February 9, 2016 in North America and February 12, 2016 in Europe.
