CES 2017 has just been "wow," introducing plenty of new and futuristic products that have been quite alluring to most electronics consumers.

We've already learned about the $8,999 laptop (you can build a desktop with the same specs for far cheaper), but now we have another expensive piece of equipment that will most likely elude the hands of most gamers: the Dell UP3218K Monitor. Dell announced this 32-inch monitor today, slapping a price tag of $4,999 onto it. Why so expensive? Well, the monitor is an 8K desktop monitor sporting 1.07 billion colors, aluminum construction, 100 percent coverage of the AdobeRGB and sRGB color gamuts.

Yes, the resolution is 7680 x 4320 for a pixel density of 280ppi - this is equivalent to four 4K displays!

This monitor comes complete with all the adjustments a professional monitor carries: pivot, tilt, swivel, and high. The UP3218K will launch on March 23rd.
