Defend Civil Liberties with Humble Bundle

30 bucks for 600 worth of games and some good karma.

We already spoke about a Humble Bundle earlier this month, but these are strange, sometimes desperate times, and in response to some recent constitutional crises the Humble Bundle is changing things up by offering its most comprehensive and laser-targeted bundle ever: introducing the “Humble Freedom Bundle."

This is different from the usual Humble Bundle Affair. There’s no picking how much you want to pay, rather, you pay a straight 30 bucks to get 600 dollars worth of video games and books. You also don’t get to pick the ratios: now, 100% of the proceeds go to the American Civil Liberties union, the International Rescue Committee, and Medecins Sans Frontiers. Humble Bundle will also match the first $300,000 spent.

So it’s a direct F-U to the Trump Administration, as well as rewarding people for their charity. And let me tell you, there are some very good games on offer here: Stardew Valley, The Witness, Invisible Inc, Day of the Tentacle, Nuclear Throne, The Stanley Parable, Guacamelee, Tower of Guns, 2064: Read Only Memories, and more. It’s one of the best deals in ages, it’s extremely cheap, and it goes to a cause that’s both good and urgent. The only downside is that it only lasts for another week.

You can check it out here. At the time of this writing, they’ve already raised more than 2.1 million bucks, and we’re only just getting started.
