For all of the video games out in the world, few of them match up with the unique experience of Deadly Premonition. But it's legacy isn't over, it returns to Nintendo Switch with Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise.

Announced as a surprise inclusion to the September 4, 2019, Nintendo Direct, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is a sequel to the confusingly popular survival horror game from 2010. It follows the exploits of FBI Special Agent Francis York Morgan as he investigates mystery and murder in the town of Le Carré, New Orleans. Acting as a pre-sequel of sorts, Morgan has to revisit a case previously thought solved and find out what really happened.

Those not familiar with the original game won't miss out, either. The same announcement reveals that Deadly Premonitions Origins, a Nintendo Switch port of the original game, is available now in the Nintendo eShop.

Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise will release some time in 2020 for the Nintendo Switch.
