Dead Rising 4 is an open world, hack and slash style survival, horror zombie game. It definitely fits in a few genre's that's for sure, but to sum it up, its a pretty cool open world zombie game that doesn't take itself too seriously. In fact, it's quite the opposite. Dead Rising 4 is filled with humor, and ridiculousness, which is refreshing when it comes to zombie games. Until today, Dead Rising 4 was only available on Xbox One and Windows 10, so for the people who didn't want to succumb to Microsoft's peer pressure, it was out of reach. Thankfully, Dead Rising 4 is now available on Steam, so you won't have to get rid of your Windows 7; I know I won't.

If you want a fun open world zombie game to play with friends and you're sick of Dying Light, then Dead Rising 4 might be worth the buy. It's a fairly fun adventure game to play solo as well, just don't go in expecting too much of a rich story. While it may lack in the narrative department, it makes up for it in the amazing assortment of weapons and just sheer awesome ways you can dispose of the living dead. Not to mention that you can take selfies with zombies. That's just a cherry on top of the cake.
