It has been confirmed that Dead or Alive 5 is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The current-gen version of the fighting game will be called Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, and has only been confirmed for release in Japan as of this writing. Alongside the announcement, publisher Tecmo Koei released the re-release's teaser trailer, which you can view below:

Last Round will be the latest in a long line of re-releases, as Dead or Alive 5 originally came to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November of 2012 before being released as Dead or Alive 5 Plus on PlayStation Vita and re-released once again on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate. Since the game was released there have been a plethora of downloadable costumes, which Last Round will presumably contain packaged in with the game at retail. Last Round is projected to come out in Japan during Spring of 2015.
