When hidden content was discovered within the files of Bloodborne, data miners went to work at discovering what secrets could be unlocked about these interesting beasts. YouTuber Sanadsk has revealed new footage of one of these hidden bosses in combat.

Sanadsk posted a video containing combat against a large and grotesque dog-like creature. After a number of swings, the beast is slain and perishes accordingly. According to the description, the creature's name is "Great One Beast." Sanadsk also gave special thanks to user ZullieTheWitch for her help regarding the game's dungeon formulas.

As games progress through development, a number of changes will always be made. It's not uncommon to see assets and code stored within the game that goes unused in the end. When these things are discovered by Data Miners, a new adventure is born to find out the history behind the discontinued content.

We have reached out to From Software for more information about the unused boss.
