Darkest Dungeon, a Kickstarter baby who received acclaim and interest for being a dungeon crawler where your hero's mental health was every bit as important as their physical well-being, has recently dropped out of Early Access and launched in full. It's pretty dope, and even though it's suffered a fair share of controversy over the years, it's still pretty darn popular, all things considered.
Well, given its success, acclaim, and popularity, it's only a matter of time before someone over at Red Hook decided it was time to build on it, and in that spirit, DLC for the game has officially been teased over on the Darkest Dungeon blog: The Crimson Court.
While the teaser doesn't say much, except something about blood and the release date, early 2017, we can safely deduce this has something to do with Vampires. So, that probably means we're getting a new zone, new items, at least one new playable class, new enemies, and perhaps even the ability to accidentally or otherwise turn our own heroes into vampires.
That's all 100% speculation: it could be something else entirely. But, still, it doesn't seem unlikely we'll find out more before the DLC is released properly. Again, looks pretty dope, tho.
