A bit late, but we finally know when Dark Souls: Remastered is coming to Nintendo Switch!
While originally set to launch with the console and PC versions in April, the Switch version was delayed due to unknown reasons. Little was said about the port since then - that is, until now. According to an announcement by publisher Bandai Namco, Dark Souls: Remastered will be releasing on the console on October 19, alongside the Solaire Amiibo.
The Amiibo, featuring NPC character Solaire of Astora posed in the community favorite "praise the sun" position, can be used in-game to unlock the gesture for the player early on. It'll be the same price as your standard Amiibo figure at $15.99. That is, assuming you can find it in stock.
The company still plans to hold an online network test for the Nintendo Switch port, though no date was given as to when.
Dark Souls: Remastered is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
