Dark Souls III is gearing up for a DLC release. To get the fans ready, they've released a trailer outlining the PVP aspects of their Ashes of Ariandel expansion. The video shows off a lot of new gameplay alongside some appropriately melancholy music. There is plenty of new content being shown off here. However, the star of the show is the new PVP content.

And, of course, praise the sun.

On top of the typical invading and protecting aspects of multiplayer comes a battle mode where up to 6 players can battle it out on the open field. It's not entirely sure what all is going to be included in the new DLC. It does look like it brings a lot to the table, though. Given, players uninterested in fighting other players may not find a lot here. If that's the case for you, then maybe pass on this one. That is, unless you've already planned on getting the Season Pass anyway.
