Dark Souls 3 has been a highly anticipated title over the past several months, and for good reason. It's the end of the Dark Souls series (or so believed), and it's supposedly better than the previous two. They went all out with it.

So hang onto your hats, boys and girls, because it's been said that Dark Souls 3 is available for pre-load on the PlayStation 4. Right. This. Instant.

At least when you pre-load, it will be available to play the minute it hits midnight on PSN... so this Tuesday.

And as for the download size? Well, the initial download will be 4.5 gigabytes, though the full download will be 19.40 gigabytes. Yeesh. Dark Souls 3 will release on the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One April 12. Not only that, but so won't another anticipated title: Ratchet & Clank.

And though I'm renting Dark Souls 3 from Gamefly, you bet I'm picking up Ratchet & Clank, so expect a little review in the next week or so.
