Originally, Little Hope was marked for release in Summer of 2020. Not much was known about the story other than it taking place in a rural town in the late 1960s. Now the game is delayed until Fall of 2020. The studio cites the complications derived from working remotely during the COVID 19 pandemic.
"Our priority has been to keep people safe, and that includes actors and stage crews on whose talents we depend so heavily, other workforces external to our business who all help to create the games we make, and all of the talented people that work within our studio."
We definitely understand the studios decision to delay the game. The game development industry has a bad history with unhealthy workplace crunch in an effort to meet release dates, one that recent efforts have been pushing against. We will always prefer a game be delayed than know that the people that worked on it had to overwork and stress themselves out to make it happen.
