Dads deserve a little love. That's why we celebrate Father's Day, our dad's birthdays, and make games like Dad Quest. Developer, Excalibur, ran a successful Kickstarter for the game last year and subsequently on Steam's Greenlight. Now, gamers can download and play a version of Dad Quest as a demo.

Please refrain from treating it as an instruction manual.

Dad Quest is a game based on classic side scrollers, along with a variation of many deadly enemies. Players will take control of the titular Dad. This is nondiscriminatory and can be either a male or female Dad. In order to get through all the obstacles in the game, each Dad will need to fight. Existing trailers show the main defense against enemies is to throw your child. As the game progresses, you can customize your child in many different ways to ensure maximum damage and effectiveness. Needless to say, it sounds like a blast. So if you're looking for a creative way to honor the fathers of the world, maybe download Dad Quest and toss around a kid or two.
