Do you know of the common phrase, "Getting more bang for your buck?"

Well, this phrase applies here to PlayStation Plus users. Typically, a customer shells out $49.99 for a full year of free games, free multiplayer, and tons of discounts, suggesting that the subscription pays for itself, correct?

Yes, indeed! And much, much more.

Reddit user A-Dark-Injection has actually number-crunched to find out how much we consumers are actually receiving in value, not counting the awesome additional discounts.

Turns out that between the months of June 2014 and May 2015, Sony has shelled out free games the totals the value to $1,354.76, or roughly the price of four brand-spanking new PlayStation 4s.

Here are a couple more notes for you to indulge in:

The platform totals include all games for each platform (the monthly 2 games + Cross-Buy versions). That's why the sum of the platform totals is higher than the total value.

American PS+ subscribers received 2 more PS3 (retail) games: Sly Cooper - Thieves in Time (June 2014) and Dragon's Crown (August 2014). Sly Cooper was offered to European subscribers in April 2014 and is therefore not listed on this image. Only the Vita version of Dragon's Crown was part of the European PS+.

For the full list of notes, you can head on over to the Reddit page.

Do you still believe you're not received enough bang for your buck with a lot of these games being indie?
