That's great, but I wonder how many fans will be retained? How many will end up going back to their respective games (i.e. Final Fantasy XIV, especially when Patch 3.4 releases on September 27)? That's a question that can only be answered in the future.
Unfortunately, we don't have the exact numbers of the current WoW subscriber base, but that's only because Blizzard refuses to share them. At least it's a great positive point for Blizzard, considering how poorly received Warlords of Draenor was.
