The new Microsoft exclusive, Cuphead, has just been released and has been receiving phenomenal reviews. At this point, it seems as though the hardest part of the game is actually downloading and installing the title. On launch day, the majority of the issues stemmed from several Xbox One users being unable to download and install their game on the console. After hard-resetting the console, players could usually get things working for them.

Eventually, problems began to form for Windows 10 users as well. Those who had purchased the game for Xbox One had difficulties downloading their version for Windows 10, seeing as how the game in a part of Xbox Play Anywhere. If you buy the game on one device, you get a free copy for the other platform, so that you can continue right where you left off. Unfortunately, this too became an issue as time went on.

Players on Windows 10 were unable to save their games. After hours of play, they would relog only to find that they had to restart at level one. Many people have taken to Reddit and Twitter to talk about the game's problems, but an official statement has not yet been made by the game developer Studio MDHR. In an unofficial posting made by somebody who talked to customer service, the main way to ensure that your game gets saved is to avoid ALT+Tabbing your way out of the screen while playing. This is only a temporary bug; apparently, it disconnects the game from being able to save.

We are still waiting on an official response from Studio MDHR, but these few tips and tricks should help you avoid those pesky bugs for the time being!
