Game Jams have grown to be quite popular, testing group creativity and teamwork abilities. Participants of this event typically have only 24 hours to create a game, which is quite impressive, and some even become large enough to earn a space on Steam or other platforms. Now, those at The Creative Assembly, one of the largest UK-based game studios, known for the games Total War and Alien: Isolation, are bringing back their own Game Jam competition for the EGX Rezzed event, which will be held on March 13th and 14th, 2015.

The competition will take place inside the GamesIndustry Fair in Earls Court, London, where educators, employers, and recruiters lead students (or those simply interested) to step proudly into the games industry. Amateur and professional developers are welcome to take part in the competition which will be open to all guests at the GamesIndustry Fair. Final games will be judged by prestigious people in the games industry and will be streamed on the EGX Rezzed Twitch channel. The games will be demonstrated and judged on Saturday, March 14th.

The applicants that succeed will be placed onto a team and receive complimentary all-show tickets for EGX Rezzed and the GamesIndustry Fair. Entrants should be over 18 and need to have at least some knowledge/background of game development. Applications for the Game Jam will be open until midnight on March 3rd, 2015, and entrants can enter as individuals or in a team of up to five people. If you'd like to know more about the Creative Assembly Game Jam, the GamesIndustry Fair, and the EGX Rezzed event, you can visit this site.

If you are in the area or have the funds to fly over to the UK, you can always apply here too.
