Creative Assembly Celebrates 30th Birthday with Free Total War: Warhammer Units

Creative Assembly, the team behind Total War: Warhammer and Aliens: Isolation, just turned 30 today, and you know what that means: you're obligated to buy them a present!

...Not really, but could you imagine if that was a thing? People would be broke in a big hurry. Nah, companies are like Jesus, in that when they have a birthday, it's everyone else who gets presents: in this case, 30 new units are being added to Total War: Warhammer, absolutely free of charge.



The five factions in the game that haven't received Regiments of Renown yet - the Beastmen, Bretonnia, Chaos, Norsca, and Wood Elves - will each receive six units. While this DLC will be free, it will launch at the same time as the paid Norsca DLC, which is scheduled for August 10. Getting them is simple: just log on to Total War Access and click the FREE-LC button, and there you go, they're claimed. It's fairly straightforward, you can check out the FAQ here.

No word on if this is a limited time offer, so better do it sooner rather than later.
