Recently in New Zealand a 19 year old was put under house arrest for a 12 month period in which he was unable to leave so what does one do when they are confined for a long period of time? They seek a form of entertainment and his was escaping through Xbox. Well, as it turns out, he played probably a bit too much...

The Regional newspaper The Northern Advocate reports (via NeoGAF) stated that the man rang police on Tuesday to say he had "run out of Xbox games to play" and would breach his home detention if he wasn't placed in jail to serve out the remaining month of his sentence.

After this, the man is was sent to the Northland Region Corrections Facility which serves 548 prisoners and ranges from minimum to high security detention in which he'll server the final month of his sentence. The judge did mention that being confined to one's home isn't easy.

I don't know about you but I think I'd prefer my home over pound me in the a** prision, right?! lol
