You can completely disregard the E3 2017 release date announcement for Crackdown 3 because it has been delayed yet again. If only Microsoft had the overwhelming power of Terry Crews, they could give the fans what they've been waiting so long for, on time, the first time.

In a reply tweet to Polygon, Microsoft Studios Publishing general manager Shannon Loftis confirmed that Crackdown 3 will indeed be delayed even further past its previous November launch date. It's now slated to release in the spring of 2018. Let's hope that Shannon Loftis is right about this date because their track record is not looking too good.

"...We want to make sure to deliver the right game, with the right quality, and at the right time, Crackdown 3 is a hugely ambitious game and we want to ensure we deliver the right experiences all the way through every part of the game, whether thats campaign, co-op multiplayer or our competitive multiplayer mode, Wrecking Zone. Getting the balance right between the three modes is important, and we are going to take the extra development time to ensure that. Gamers can expect Crackdown 3 in Spring of 2018.
