Microsoft has reportedly delayed the release of Crackdown 3 into 2019.
First reported by Kotaku, the popular open-world super police game will no longer be releasing in 2018, as previously expected. Now the company is quoting February of 2019 for the new expected release date. Microsoft Central stated that they want "to ensure we deliver the experience they deserve."
We first heard about Crackdown 3 at E3 2014. It was originally scheduled for release in 2016. Since then, the game has shifted developers three times, going from Ruffian Games, to Reagent Games, to Sumo Digital. With Microsoft's 2018 lineup having already received mixed feedback, this leaves the rest of the year looking scarce for the company.
