Conan Exiles is typically attributed with dry, dreary, empty wastelands, and that's pretty much completely accurate, at least until the Frozen North expansion releases. Just a month ago, Funcom released a teaser trailer for this new expansion that gave us just a taste of what the new frozen tundra environment will offer to players.

Now, Funcom has released a sort of developer update that sheds some more light on the expansion, and everything else that will be coming alongside its release. Among the new map itself, there will be a new weather and temperature system, new brewing and cooking systems, new armor and weapons, new enemies and plenty more.

Here's a little description of the upcoming Frozen North expansion:

Far to the north, a vast new land has been discovered. A cold and rugged landscape where snow-capped mountains and dark, haunted forests stretch as far as the eye can see. Here, between the desperate howls of wolves and thundering footsteps of Frost Giants, the beating of kettle-drums can be heard as savage tribes of northmen worship Ymir, their Lord of Storm and War.
