Code Vein Shows Some Serious Combat in New Gameplay Footage

A while back I did a piece on the new JRPG, Code Vein. The game is being created by Bandai Namco and they released a reveal trailer back in March. Now, in that article I compared the game to Dark Souls. There wasn't a ton of fighting, but I could tell that it was extremely similar, mostly due to the fact that I'm not blind and I know what Dark Souls is.

The game made an appearance at E3, where it looked absolutely phenomenal, but it didn't show a full fight from beginning to end. Although we were disappointed then, we no longer need to be as brand new footage has just been released that shows plenty of combat. About 2 minutes worth to be exact. Keep in mind, this is super base-level right now. The attacks are not unique and crazy just yet. THe game isn't set to release until 2018, so the developers have plenty of time to get the combat juices flowing for Code Vein.
