Sid Meier's Civilization VI, the next iteration in the immensely popular turn-based strategy series, is coming to Nintendo Switch on November 16, 2018.

The release was announced on the Civ website, where they detail the slew of features and awards associated with the game. Winner of The Game Awards Best Strategy Game, Civ VI has the player leading their own civilization. Starting as a mere settlement, they develop and advance through multiple millennia. The final goal to become a world power, whether that's through military prowess, diplomacy, or cultural influence.

The game series is well known in the gaming community for having an addicting, "one more turn" effect on players. When you combine that with the portable potential of the Nintendo Switch, you have something only an anonymous help group can support you through.

CivilizationVI is available on PC and Mobile, and soon to be Nintendo Switch.
