More troubling news from China YET AGAIN in this bizarre story. If you have been keeping track with some of the recent stories (this and this) then this one might seem like the norm...

A Chinese father name Ye Yuming has reached out for help. 6 years ago in 2007, his 27-year-old son, Xiao Jiang bought a computer, left his job and began playing online video games. Jiang's life fell into disrepair. He forgets to eat meals and often goes many days without bathing or changing his clothes! Eventually, JIang began to cut off communication with the rest of his family entirely.

But as Xiang slept all day and gamed all night, his father was trying to find a solution. He hoped that by writing a plea for help, someone would, perhaps, have a means to get Xiang out of his rut. But reporters taking on the story and turning up to the house didn't help and, clearly, this is more than a rut. When faced with news crew, Xiang picked up a knife to keep them out! According to a psychological expert, Xiang is suffering from more than just game addiction and has extended into what seems to be extreme paranoia.

One begins to wonder how all of these crazy stories are coming out of only China???
