We have your typical YouTube playlists of gorgeous gaming OSTs (for instance, I listen to Final Fantasy XIV's soundtrack pretty often on YouTube, despite owning said soundtracks anyway).
Then, we have your collection of retro video game endings.
Say what?
Yes, endings.
To me, that's great! What if you, fellow gamer, wanted to remember the ending to a game but don't want to be bothered with finding an entire playthrough and clicking towards the ending of the video in hopes of finding the ending?
Well V.E.D. has you covered with its very own, curated collection of video game endings. Though the subscriber base is small, the quality of these endings is absolutely amazing.
At the time of this writing, there are 1091 endings, which is impressive, especially when you consider the process involved. These endings are recorded via PC, but to even access the endings, a collection of saves must be utilized.
Here are the current console categories of game endings:
- Atari ST
- Nintendo NES
- X68000
- Sega Mega Drive
- PlayStation
- Nintendo SNES
- Nintendo Game Boy
- Nintendo Game Boy Advance
- Sega Master System
- PC
- Commodore Amiga
- Amstrad CPC
- Nintendo FDS
- NEC PC-Engine
- Sega Game Gear
"I wish to cover other consoles, but my hardware now is quite limited, so my plans for now are continuing with Mega Drive endings, then I have several PSX saves and GBA ones. And perhaps, by the time I'll finish to upload all those things, I'll upgrade my PC so I can record more systems!"
Very much looking forward to it.
Again, you can check out V.E.D.'s YouTube Channel here. You can also follow the official Twitter too!
For a look at some interesting game endings, check out this Prince of Persia ending:
Note: Please include the ending to Final Fantasy VI! I love that ending so much!
Furthermore, if you'd like more video game endings, then please make your way to the Game Endings site, brought to you by Vaz Comics, where you'll find many updates to game endings. Do keep in mind that the majority of the site is in Italian, but some parts are translated into English.
