CD Projekt Red, the development team behind the Witcher Series and the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077, will not be presenting anything at this year's Game Awards.

According to a tweet by CD Projekt Red's Community Manager Marcin Momot, the company will not be sharing any new information at this year's Game Awards, specifically in regards to Cyberpunk 2077.

"We're looking forward to seeing all the reveals and announcements during this year's @thegameawards, however we're not going to be showing anything there ourselves. Well share more details about @cyberpunkgame when were ready."

This comes as a disappointment to the many fans waiting for more about the sci-fi RPG. Originally announced in 2012, the studio was virtually silent about the game's development up until the last year or so, when a collection of marketing material was released and the game was actively promoted.

But hey, at least we know not to get our hopes up. We can still wildly speculate about whatever Obsidian is planning.
