We don’t know much, but ‘things happening’ is a very safe bet.
While we may be in the dark into what exactly will be going into the game, we are certain of one thing, if a recent interview between MCV and CD Projekt Red visual effects artist Jose Teixeira is to believed. Apparently, it’s big. Like, ‘bigger than the Witcher 3’ kind of big. But how much bigger, I wonder?
“Cyberpunk is far bigger than anything else that CD Projekt Red has done before. Far, far bigger. We're really stepping into the unknown in terms of complexity and size and problems we encounter.”
Good to know they’re still working on it, at the very least! But wasn’t developing The Witcher 3 detrimental to the development of this new game?
“If anything, working on The Witcher 3 was a really good and often brutal learning experience. Cyberpunk is going to benefit greatly from it. I can almost guarantee it. I have a lot of things that I want to change and do better the next time around, and I can guarantee that almost everyone in that studio has something that they go 'I did this this time, next time I can do it differently, I can do it better'.”
Well that answer that! Looks like he’s almost ready to almost guarantee us the sun and moon with this game, eh? Well, fingers crossed--if it ever comes out, I mean.
