In some non-COVID-19 related news, the world continues to wait eagerly for Cyberpunk 2077, which was unfortunately postponed by a few months so the developer, CD Projekt Red, could iron out some kinks and make it the best damn RPG you ever did play. But according to one interview with the Polish business site Stooq, CD Projeket Red isnt letting the fact theyre not done with their current game distract them from thinking about what comes after and apparently, theyve got a pretty good idea of what it could be.
That said, were still a ways off from seeing it.
Heres the crux of what they said: right now, its pretty much all hands on deck for Cyberpunk 2077. Once that launches, the company will dedicate one large team to working on the games promised multiplayer components. A second large team, smaller than the first, will be working on the games single-player expansions. While the third, smallest team would start working on another large singleplayer game.
Theres no news on what kind of game it might be not even an inkling, really but since CD Projekt Red has, in the past, expressed a desire to continue to work with The Witcher, that would probably be a safe bet.
