Mushihimesama (English translation is "Bug Princess") sounds like a major tongue-twister, by the way. Anyway, Mushi is one of those bullet-hell type of games that have been known to make you wish you were never exposed to video games. There are plenty of YouTube videos floating about with people trudging through the game with plenty of frustration to guide them along the way.
The plot is as follows:
In a world where giant insects called Koju roam the lands, a young princess by the name of Reco is facing a travesty: her people have fallen mysteriously ill. Reco must thus meet the God of the Koju, who may be able to provide the cure. With her faithful beetle Kiniro as her companion, she must trudge through the wilds through the vertical landscapes and brave against hostile Koju.
And the features? Well...
- Bullets. Tons and tons of bullets. As bullet-hell as it gets.
- Three game modes
- Multiple difficulties
- Online Leaderboards
- 1.5 DLC and Soundtracks
- Even more bullets than you can shake a stick at.
- So many bullets that you'll end up curling into fetal position and sobbing
