According to European brand manager Richard Jones, Konami, the developers of "Castlevania" are entertaining the idea of bringing back 1986 action-adventure classic to the Nintendo Switch. Castlevania has a Netflix series in the works, and Konami believes that there is big enough of a demand for the game right now, that a Nintendo Switch port might be worthwhile.

"'Castlevania' is getting its own show on Netflix and because of that, we're hearing a lot of desires from our fans for a new 'Castlevania' series. So we do know there is a demand for a new game, but right now nothing is set in stone as the discussions are still on-going."

The Castlevania Netflix series will be a four season series with 30-minute episodes, and according to the producer and writer for the show Adi
Shanker, we can expect some good old R-rated action similar to Game Of Thrones. He specifically claimed that it will be "R-rated as f***." As for the possibility of Castlevania coming to the Nintendo Switch, nothing is set in stone at the moment, but Richard Jones believes that its a good possibility given the amount of demand for the Netflix series.
