And it's called Resident Evil Re:Verse. No matter what their logic was when deciding on that name, it was flawed.
This online multiplayer title was created as a thank you to fans for the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil series. Available for free to purchasers of Resident Evil Village, it features beloved Resident Evil characters as they clash in six-person deathmatches!
The game is a bit different in so far that it's looking to be aping a comic-book style, which is a first for the series. That said, gameplay wise... honestly, it doesn't look super engaging.
This is hardly Capcom's first attempt at trying to bring competitive mutliplayer to the Resident Evil series, but so far, they've never been terribly successful. Resident Evil Resistance was seen as serviceable but lopsided, and the less said about Umbrella Corps, the better.
