Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, The Witness Free for PS+ Members in March

March is practically here. And with it, a new wave of free games with PlayStation Plus. See what new games you can expect in the coming month.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered



The headliner this time around is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. One of Activision/Infinity Ward's biggest successes of the previous decade, Modern Warfare took the franchise out of World War II and into the modern age. The remastered edition released in 2016 with a new set of graphics while retaining the sharp gameplay and wonderful level design of the original.

The Witness



You might not recognize the game by its name, but you have probably seen the creator's past work. Jonathan Blow is best known for his 2008 indie hit, Braid. After the game's release, Blow began work on a second game, releasing in 2016 as The Witness.

The Witness is a first-person puzzle game set on a tropical island. Combining captivating narratives with well-designed puzzles, the game would go on to be a textbook example of intelligent design and environmental storytelling.

Both games will be available to download from PlayStation Store on March 5.

Last Month's Games

It's not too late to grab the February games of the month if you haven't already. They will be available until March 8 and include the following games:

• Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots PS3

• Rogue Aces PS Vita (Cross-Buy with PS4)

Remember: this is the last month that PlayStation will be offering PS3 and PS Vita games as part of their Plus subscription. That's why March has a total of two games, compared to the six from the previous month.
