Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered May be Getting a Stand-Alone Release

Due to the overwhelming success of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, it's safe to assume that we would eventually see it split-off from Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare and be sold as a stand-alone game like many fans have requested. Good news has come via a leak that CharlieIntel spotted on Gamefly where they listed the game and then quickly took it down. Before Gamefly took down the listing, various people, including CharlieIntel spotted it and noticed that it was set for a release in July, with PlayStation owners possibly getting access a month earlier as usual.

While this is good news, some Call Of Duty fans may say that it's far too late. Modern Warfare Remastered has been tied to Infinite Warfare for seven months, all the while they have released a $15 map pack. Many fans have outraged at the fact that this classic title has been plagued by expensive microtransactions and the fact that they have to pay $15 for maps that they ideally should have received upon launch. Whether or not Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be releasing this coming July, it's most likely too late for some of the community.

Activision has not made any comments on this potential leak, and no price tag has been announced. The pricing of the game will ultimately decide whether or not fans will forgive Activision for their tardiness. Call Of Duty leaks have been pretty accurate in 2017, so It's fairly safe to assume that this Gamefly leak is accurate as well.
