The first beta weekend of Infinite Warfare has come to close. Infinity Ward gave players an extra day of play this weekend, and the excitement doesn't end there. The company reached out to thank all of the players for the feedback they received. Having the opportunity to stress test the system and fine tune some issues was necessary, and Infinity Ward really wants to show the community how appreciative they are.

Infinity Ward tweeted out on October 18th saying, "Weekend 1 is done! We're hungry for more valuable feedback so Weekend 2 will be open to all PS4 players! #IWBeta" Joe Cecot, the Lead Multiplayer Designer at Infinity Ward stated, "Thank you to the awesome Call of Duty community and your response to the Beta. We've been watching players experiment with different Rigs, all unique to their playstyles, and dig into our new weapon crafting system. We've also introduced a new matchmaking system to provide the highest quality matches possible, which the Beta has helped us optimize for launch."

You can go to the PS Store right now and download the Infinite Warfare Beta. It will be opening up at 10am PST on October 21st and will be ending on October 24th at 10am PST. If you've read any of my previous articles, you know how I feel about free stuff. You may as well play it while you can, even if it sucks. I'm a bit surprised the Infinity Ward is actually trying to help out the community, especially with all of the drama surrounding the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered issue. Anyway, hopefully the Playstation community is excited about this and give a big thank you to Infinity Ward.
