Call of Duty Gameplay Full of Shooting, Guns

The Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare gameplay trailer was revealed on Monday this week, and we didn’t report it because we were busy freaking out over the Bloodborne trailer had other, more urgent matters to attend to at the time.  But now that the big three had their presentations and things have settled down a little bit, let's take a retrospective look at the latest in the world's number one firs-person-shooter franchise.



Within the nine-minute gameplay trailer embedded above you'll find everything you ever wanted in a CoD game but were too afraid to ask for: giant killer robots, jetpacks, heat-seeking grenades, and killing foreigners.  It's all a bit over-the-top, but frankly I kind of like the new direction, especially since you'll be working with the main antagonist of the game (for at least some portion of the game) as a member of a Private Military Corporation looking to overthrow the United States government.

It's quite the departure from the Modern Warfare games that first catapaulted CoD into the best-selling megahit that it is today, but there's only so many times we can drop a nuke or shoot up an airport and keep it poignant, so, I'm all aboard this reimagining.

The game will be released November 4th for every console except the Wii U.
