In 2008, we were blessed with the open world racing game known as Burnout Paradise. Electronic Arts have recently announced that a Burnout Paradise HD Remaster will be heading to Japan for PlayStation 4 on March 16 of this year.

We've been hearing rumors of an HD remake of Paradise since December, originating from a GamePress post citing PS4 and Xbox One listings in a retailer database. The release date listed there was March 1.

With only a PS4 version for Japan. We can believe that Sony may have had exclusivity dealings with EA for Japan. If so, we can expect a multi-console release worldwide.

Why only this specific version/region has been announced remains a mystery. It's quite possible it won't be coming to the States. Only time will tell, so stay tuned for more information.
