Way back on November 25th of this year, Randy Pitchford teased over Twitter that Duke Nukem fans would have some exciting news waiting for them come December 1st. I also kind of hinted at the idea that I’d report on it when it actually came around. Yet here we are, four days later, and the entire affair completely slipped my mind.

Oops.

To be fair, it seems to have slipped a lot of people’s minds, as the announcement wasn’t really that exciting compared to all the other news to come out of the Game Awards. It’s not a new Gearbox Duke Nukem game, and the Duke ain’t showing up in Battleborn (yet): rather, they announced that they were going to publish a remaster of the forgettable last-gen shoot em’ up Bulletstorm, and that Duke Nukem would be showing up in that.

The remaster is scheduled to launch on April 7, 2017 for PC, PS4, and of course Xbox One. You can pre-order it now to save 15% on the asking price (around 50 bucks), and the Duke Nukem’s Bulletstorm tour add-on for free.

Sound good? Yes? No? You be the judge.
