At least the Summit Lithograph will certainly have more value.

Looks like my Tomb Raider Summit Lithograph may have a little more personal (and financial?) value, because it appears that Crystal Dynamics' Senior Art Director Brian Horton is moving on to a completely different studio.

According to the Tomb Raider Tumblr blog, Brian Horton, who helped bring to life the Tomb Raider Reboot and directed Lara through her first true tomb raiding as Rise of the Tomb Raider's Game Director, will be embarking on a new adventure for Activision's Infinity Ward.

Which makes me so, so sad. Hopefully that doesn't mean that the Tomb Raider reboot will be ceasing to exist, because he was just an important part of the reboot series.

"It's been a huge honor to be part of the Tomb Raider franchise and the team at Crystal Dynamics. I've met fans from all over the world, both in person and online, to share in our love for the franchise and Lara Croft. After working on two amazing games, my family and I have decided to return to Southern California and start a new adventure. As sad as I am to leave the team at Crystal, I'm excited to play their future games as a fan. Thanks again for the years of support and feedback and I hope to stay in touch with you all online."

Thanks Mr. Horton. You will be missed at Crystal Dynamics!
