Normally when my grandmother would go on about how video games are the work of the devil, I would disregard it. Though in light of new events, she might be right after all. Bowsette has been added into The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Now that you've properly spilled your coffee all over the desk in a spasm of discontent, you should know that this is not an official addition to the game. This is instead the work of modder Lynard Killer, who replaced Link's character model with that of the female Bowser form.
First reported by Kotaku, There have been a fair number of mods to Breath of the Wild that have garnered media attention due to their ridiculousness. My personal favorite being CJ, from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. But nothing has quite touched me in such an unwanted level as this.
For those who vacationed off-grid for the duration of the craze, Bowsette is a fan-conceived idea that when Bowser wears the Peach Crown item (an item that, when used by Toadette, transforms her into Peachette), he becomes an amalgamation of Peach and Bowser, AKA Bowsette. The concept spread like absolute wildfire online, with comics, fan art, and discussion accordingly.
To give Mr. Killer some credit, the dress physics isn't bad.
