Primal real time strategy game, BOID, is now available on Steam. The most prominently advertised detail of the game is it takes strategy to its most basic component. That means no currency. No set-up. No micro-management. That's amazing news for gamers who never could get a handle on that kind of gameplay. The launch trailer implies the game focuses on the tactics and planning for the units on hand, which makes sense without any kind of resource management.
Explosion Imminent
BOID's setting involves single cell units that spawn and mutate to the player's discretion. That's part of where the tactics and strategy get involved. And players will get plenty of opportunities to play around with that. The RTS offers players online multiplayer as well as a 10-hour single player campaign. On top of that, it comes with full Steam Workshop support and level editor.
