Cheating is obviously an extremely serious offense in video games, especially in one such as competitive as PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, and you'll be glad to know that Bluehole is actually taking action against cheaters along with working alongside BattlEye (the anti-cheat program) to add more protection.
"We have also been working hard to tackle down cheating players. This is an ongoing battle, but one we are committed to fighting! We have banned 25,000+ users in the last 3 months, and work daily with BattlEye to add new protections and detections for cheats appearing on the market."
Since PUBG is such a large game, it can be hard to even know when you've encountered a hacker/cheater, but no need to fret. Bluehole Studios is taking the fight to the cheaters, and so far, 25,000 of them have met their demise. Check out the full patch notes for the June update here.
