If you haven't, check it out anyway, because it may pique your interest. Bloomberg Businessweek has a feature titled Bonnie's Army: Can Halo 5 Save the Xbox, which provides an in-depth look at the development of Halo and Ross's rise to where she is today. Here are some of the major points you will find in the article (which you can read right here):

Halo's influence is wide, as over the past 14 years, over $4.6 billion has been spent on Halo products, and 25 percent of the products are non-game merchandise.

Ross always draws on Star Wars when she speaks about her ambitions.

"For those of us that are a little bit older, we saw Star Wars and stood in line the first time around. We are seeing the same thing with Halo, where a lot of dads and parents that started playing when they were 20 or 30 now have kids that are coming in through our, you know, Mega Bloks line."

Ross's colleagues thought negatively about Ross's decision to take over Halo.

"People felt like, let's get another Halo or two out, and it's the end of the franchise. The thing I asked for was: If I take it over, I want to be George Lucas. I want to own everything, and I want to do things differently."

A Microsoft press officer asked the writer of the article, Joshua Brustein, to omit any personal information as to prevent doxxing. The press officer later relented.

Ross has been teaching her 10-year-old son about the world of Halo: "I firmly believe that your kids are going to play games, and you should play with them. I want to share that first experience with him." So far, the duo has played through the first two levels of Halo 5, and occasionally play around in multiplayer.

According to the article, she is better than him... but only for so long.
