Bloody Brutal Gunnheim to Battle Out of Early Access October 16

A very geometrical, cooperative game about to fully release, and it looks awesome. Gunnheim, brought to you by Meridian4, features a very interesting equation that simplifies the game's entire existence:

vikings + guns = mayhem

That alone screams happy day for me. But it's a top-down shooter where you and three other friends (optional) must take down hellspawn (literally) as skull-crushing, gun-toting Viking warriors--known as Gunnheim--that were born and bred for the sheer purpose of battling. The term berserker even takes on a new meaning in Gunnheim, as you, equipped with modern weaponry ranging from mini-guns to atomic bombs, will fight brutally through hordes of monsters and the devil's children. Friendships could be torn asunder throughout the journey, as this title features the delicious friendly-fire mechanic. Oh, and it will be bloody. Oh, so, bloody. So if you're not into blood and gore, you may want to turn away from this article now.



For those still interested, Gunnheim is a top down shooter inspired by Viking mythology and the golden era of couch co-op gaming. Bringing sharp, low-poly graphics, humor, and quick-paced action, Gunnheim offers a fun experience between friends both local and online... or solo, if you wish.
