So no delays like Mighty No. 9!

It's been awhile since we actually talked about Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, huh? Well the successful Kickstarter title has finally seen an update. The developers seem to be going strong on the creation of Bloodstain. There has so far been no delays, and fans are not at all upset with Bloodstained. Unlike with the tail of Mighty No. 9, Bloodstained looks to be a truly perfect success story.

Anyway, more on the staggered content: according to the official forums Bloodstained is aiming to be a huge game, and the devs want to take a page from games like Shovel Knight, which offered a staggered content release--basically, the main game launches first and then over the months new content will launch. It has since been confirmed that Bloodstained will be following a staggered content release: some portion of the game will launch, followed by the outlined content found on Kickstarter in future months.

Unfortunately, how much of the game will be available has been undetermined, but this is to mainly avoid what has been going on with Mighty No. 9, which has angered quite a few people. Not to mention Mighty No. 9 looks awfully different, truth be told.

Anyway, it's a big, important update, and I hope you're satisfied with it.
