Bloodborne's Recent Patch Slashes Load Times

Good news is you won't groan at loading times, bad news is there is more time to die now.

Time for another Bloodborne news report! You're not sick of them yet, are you?

Well today, From Software released patch 1.03 for the bloody, deadly action game, which cuts down load times by between five to ten seconds. This is fantastic news, given how many times you can die to enemies... or fire... or pitfalls...

The load times are exactly the reason why I do not play Bloodborne for very long. But now I can!

Additionally, for those that hate staring at the static Bloodborne logo on the loading screens, you can take solace in that From Software has replaced the logo with game information for you to indulge in as you wait in between deaths. Here are the full patch notes:
  • Reduced loading times (approximately 5-15 seconds; may vary by circumstance)
  • Fixed a bug that left certain lifts and elevators inoperable
  • Fixed a bug that resulted in bosses becoming immobilized
  • Fixed a bug that left players unable to advance non-player character events
  • When the PS4 is put into Rest Mode during online play, the game will now return to the main title screen upon resuming play
  • This will resolve matchmaking issues related to Suspend/Resume
  • Other various bug fixes
So time to boot up some Bloodborne for a marathon of death!
