"Blood Sport" Suspended on Kickstarter Site

For unknown reasons, of course.

No, it's not a video game that's about vampires sucking the blood out of each other or humans (or animals). It's a video game machine that literally sucks the blood out of a player for every failure/point loss/hit that occurs during any video game. "Blood Sport," the name of the Toronto-based project, has been suspended from the Kickstarter fundraiser website, though the reason behind the act hasn't been disclosed to the creators.

Blood Sport's goal is to create a multiplayer machine that will be hauled across the country of Canada for blood donations and other events. In other words, the funds do not support the mass distribution of this machine, but instead supports the development costs of medical and game equipment. The project itself is a very considerate act with noble reasons attached to it. Though the machine claims to detect how much blood a person can lose without passing out, the fact that it may not be 100% fool-proof may be a reason as to why Kickstarter suspended this amazing project. Or it could just simply be a matter that the creators haven't been officially sponsored by any corporation that runs blood transfers/drives. Despite this, the creators state that they have been working with medical professionals to make the donation machine fun, easy, and nearly painless.

Before the project was suspended, the creators raised $3,390 out of their $250,000 (Canadian Currency). It is unfortunate, but hopefully, they can lift the suspension off their project to continue creating a fun way to donate blood (besides the incentive of the delicious cookie).
