As a Souls fan—like, a seriously huge souls fan—the reveal of the Bloodborne trailer at this year’s E3 (formerly named Project Beast) was extremely exciting for me. I must have watched it upwards of a billion times, with the new Legend of Zelda trailer in another tab immediately adjacent to it so I could switch between the two for maximum squeals. And yes, I AM what’s wrong with the gaming industry nowadays.
Unfortunately, everything else there was to learn about Bloodborne was reserved for the journalists actually there—the gameplay demo they showed at E3 was never posted online, and recording the event was forbidden. Well, except this 50 second snippet recorded at the event, probably without permission.
HOWEVER—if you weren’t there and you want to see more Bloodborne (and you should, in my completely subjective opinion) then I have goods news for you, then bad news. The good news: a gameplay trailer from when the game was still under Project Beast was leaked late last night onto youtube!
The bad news: From found out. It was taken down this morning under a copyright claim.
The better news: Other people already posted other copies of it online! Hurrah! Enjoy!
It’s a good day to be a Soul’s fan indeed!
