I may not be big into "Warcraft," but that does not mean I am not interested in the upcoming film adaptation of the franchise that includes one of the most popular video game titles. At BlizzCon 2014, there have been teases here and there about the upcoming “Warcraft” film. From what information that has been gathered, the film will uniquely focus on not simply the Alliance or the Horde, but instead both sides, giving the film the "Warcraft" perspective it needs.

The movie will be produced by Legendary and Universal Pictures. Rob Kazinsky, actor of "True Blood" and "Pacific Rim" will play the orc warrior Orgrim. For the human-led Alliance side, Travis Fimmel, from "Vikings," will portray as the character Anduin Lothar. "Mission: Impossible" actress Paula Patton will play Gorana, the orc who is caught between both the Alliance and Horde sides. Plenty more well-known actors will make their appearances in the film. Tons of special effects will also accompany the film, as is mentioned by director Duncan Jones. He also states that the special effects will bear similarities to "Avatar" and "Lord of the Rings."

The film is set for release in March of 2016. This is a must see for fans of not just "World of Warcraft" but also for fans of the original "Warcraft" series. Are you excited for this film? The story - or at least, what I know (Gorana being caught between the Alliance and Horde sides) – definitely has set off my intrigue, even though I’ve never been a huge fan of the games.
